No spectators in Bavaria, but up to 3000 in Berlin: On the second matchday of the second half of the season, the Corona ordinances of the individual federal states again ensure a fan patchwork quilt. Dortmund – Signal Iduna Park

(Fri., 8.30 p.m. against Freiburg)

750 spectators: Thanks to the new Corona Protection Ordinance in North Rhine-Westphalia, fans are allowed to go to Signal Iduna Park again. The 2G rule applies in Dortmund on Friday evening, and even 2G Plus in the indoor areas for VIPs and partners. The tickets were distributed free of charge to fan club members, away season ticket holders, as well as partners and club employees.





Mainz – MEWA Arena

(Sat, 15.30 against Bochum)

1.000 Fans: Only fans with a season ticket from the cities of Mainz, Wiesbaden and Worms as well as the districts of Mainz-Bingen and Alzey-Worms are admitted. Tickets for visitors from other areas will not be issued. Those season ticket holders who come into question with their address data stored with the club have been emailed directly by the people of Mainz. The 2G Plus rule applies in Mainz.



Berlin – Stadion An der Alten Försterei

3,000 spectators: After a country decision, 3000 home fans are allowed into the stadium. Season ticket holders were able to register for tickets on the Berliner homepage at the beginning of the week. The club drew the ticket winners. Only vaccinated or genesis with the addition that a current negative corona test must be available are allowed access. FFP2 masks are compulsory throughout the stadium and on the pitch.



Cologne – RheinEnergieStadion

(Sat., 3.30 p.m. against Bayern)

750 spectators: After all, thanks to the new NRW regulations, a few fans are allowed into the arena. Coach Steffen Baumgart criticized the fact that only 750 spectators were allowed on Saturday before the game as “pointless”. The FC raffles the tickets among its 25,000 season ticket holders. FFP2 masks are compulsory throughout the stadium.



Stuttgart – Mercedes Benz Arena

(Sat., 3.30 p.m. against Leipzig)

ghost game: In the state of Baden-Württemberg, a maximum of 500 fans are allowed at events – most recently, TSG Hoffenheim and SC Freiburg also allowed 500 spectators each into their arenas – but VfB Stuttgart are not selling tickets for the game against Leipzig. In December, the club gave up the 750 spectators allowed at the time and left the stadium gates closed.



Wolfsburg-Volkswagen Arena

500 spectators: 500 fans can attend the first Wolfsburg home game of the new year. The Lower Saxony Corona Ordinance does not allow more. The permitted ticket contingent was distributed among interested season ticket holders by drawing lots. An FFP2 mask must be worn anywhere in the stadium. Access is only after 2G control.



Monchengladbach – Borussia Park

750 spectators: Half of this permitted capacity is allocated to the box areas. Tickets may only be purchased by season ticket holders. Access is only available to those who have recovered and those who have been vaccinated. The fans do not need an additional negative corona test. The obligation to wear an FFP2 mask applies to the seat. Masks are compulsory throughout the loge areas.



Augsburg – WWK Arena

(Sun., 3.30 p.m. against Frankfurt)

ghost game: Because of the high number of cases, the Bavarian government has decided not to allow spectators at major events throughout the state.



Bielefeld – SchuecoArena

(Sun., 5.30 p.m. towards Fürth)

750 spectators: The tickets were distributed by lottery to season ticket holders who had submitted their application via the club’s website by Thursday. The 2G rule applies to visitors, according to which vaccinated and recovered people are allowed into the arena.
