Union Berlin beat host Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1, regaining the top of the German championship from Bayern Munich in the 12th stage of the competition.
The visitors took the lead with a Niko Elvedi goal in the 32nd minute, but Union Berlin equalized with a Kevin Beheritz goal in the 79th minute.
And when the game was about to draw, Danilo Diochi (90 + 7) scored the winning goal for Union Berlin.
With this victory, Union Berlin regains Bayern’s lead (25 points), with 26 points.
The spoils of Borussia Monchengladbach, on the other hand, remained 16 points in tenth place.
