Union and Nübel? Consultant speaks up
What’s next with Alexander Nübel?
The substitute goalkeeper of FC Bayern is not satisfied with his situation with the German record champions and is considering a loan. There are already enough interested clubs, now another club is said to have put out feelers.
As the picture-Zeitung reports, Union Berlin is hot for the back-up of Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Accordingly, there should have already been talks, a loan over two years is in the room. It is important for Nübel that it is finally used regularly.

At Bayern he was only allowed to play three times in his first season – too little for the talented and ambitious keeper. At the Iron in Berlin, Andreas Luthe is currently between the posts. His position as number one is not set in stone. In the current season, however, he prevailed against his prominent competitor Loris Karius.
Nübel consultant denied
He will leave the club at the end of the season, so a position will be available. However, Nübels advisor Stefan Backs denied Transfermarkt.de: “There is nothing to it. There have been no discussions.” So whoever grabs Nübel is still open.
“Monaco is still on him, that could be very interesting,” reveals SPORT1-Chief reporter Florian Plettenberg in the new episode of SPORT1-Podcasts “My Bavaria week“. Ex-Bayern coach Niko Kovac sits in the coaching bench at Monaco.
Also is after SPORT1-Information Olympique Marseille and Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Nübels. Meanwhile, staying in Munich is not entirely out of the question. Finally, with Julian Nagelsmann, a new trainer comes to the master.
How SPORT1 knows, Nübel first wants to talk to the new Caoch and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic before making a decision. Not entirely unimportant: If it actually goes, FCB would of course have to try to find a replacement.
