The Alma Mater participated in a professional orientation day for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students at the Luis Carlos Galán Institute of Education, providing tools for their academic future.

During a day organized by the National Open and Distance University – UNAD, the House of Higher Knowledge was invited to send its extensive academic package to the students of the Luis Carlos Galán Educational Institute, in the town of Plato.

The event, aimed at over 200 high school students, included lectures, dynamic activities and testimonials designed to help young people identify their interests and career potential, and thus enabling the construction of the life project.

During its participation, the University highlighted the flexible educational approach of the Center for the Distribution of Education and Opportunities – CREO, which allows students to combine studies and work, thus promoting greater stability in the education system .

Edinson Ariza Torres, an 11th grade student, shared his experience at the event: “They gave us basic information about the different study options. CREO’s approach caught my attention, because studying in circles allows us to work while we learn, building more confidence in our academic process.”

Specialist graduate Carmen Cortina Orozco, CREO-Plato coordinator pointed out at the event: “We are committed to creating educational programs that respond to the demands of the production sector and local communities. “We want every student to be able to prepare themselves with extensive training and solid tools for the future.”

Towards building human capital
