Kyriakos Mitsotakis is attempting to bridge relations with Kostas Karamanlis and Antonis Samaras, as on Monday he had a phone call with them in order to personally invite them to the event for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the ND, according to Kathimerini.
This move could be interpreted as an attempt to maintain balance and unity, as their relations are colder than ever after the joint speech of Karamanlis – Samaras at the war museum in July, which deconstructed all the strategic choices of the prime minister, and also after the absence them from the speech of Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the 88th TEF.
