Gao Zhigang, the head coach of the Unified Lions, experienced the World Baseball Classic, the secondary professional baseball regular season, the playoffs, the Asian Professional Baseball Championship last year, and also served as the head coach of the Asian Winter League secondary professional league team. Many coaches in secondary vocational schools have begun to choose to study abroad in recent years. Gao Zhigang began to participate in seminars organized by ABCA in 2019. This was his third time going there at the end of last year. Gao Zhigang believes that through the seminar, you can hear different coaches express their ideas and opinions, and each has different gains.
