Unidentified persons sent burnt Qurans to several Muslims in Sweden. Swedish newspaper reports. The evening paper with reference to the chairman of the Muslim Association of the Uppsala Mosque, Yasser Abu Jayshe.
The incident took place in the city of Uppsala. According to the source, several members of the mosque’s board received fragments of burnt sacred books at their home addresses.
The chairman of the Muslim Association noted that against the backdrop of the burning of the Koran, surveillance cameras were installed near the Uppsala mosque – six inside and several more around.
Earlier it was reported that in Stockholm, two migrants from Iraq set fire to several pages of the Koran and threw the book into a dustbin. At the same time, the Swedish authorities are not going to ban the destruction of sacred books. Meanwhile, the Danish government wants to introduce a prison term for burning the Koran.
