yunhap news

Unidentified metal pillars that appeared around the world and attracted attention appeared in Canada.

From New Year’s Eve, a metal pillar about 4m high was found in Humber Bay Park overlooking Toronto’s waterfront, AFP reported.

Citizens gathered here to see the metal pillars erected at points where you can get a panoramic view of the city, including the Toronto CN Tower.

Some of these metal pillars were damaged by red paint, and some citizens tried to wipe them.

The metal pillar, which was first discovered in the desert of Utah, USA on November 18 last year, attracted attention because it resembles the alien sculpture in the ‘2001 Space Odyssey’ by American film director Stanley Kubrick.

It is not known who installed such a metal pillar, and some netizens at the time have speculated that it was an alien act.

Afterwards, the metal column suddenly disappeared and was discovered in the Netherlands and Poland. It has recently appeared in Vancouver, Canada and Winnipeg in the central region. Reporter Lee Young-sil [email protected]
