“Unidentified Explosion Causes 6-Meter Funnel in Abandoned Russian Power Plant”

In the suburbs of Russian St. Petersburg on the evening of April 26, an explosion occurred on the territory of an abandoned thermal power plant, as a result of which a funnel with a diameter of 6 meters was formed.

Details: Russian media report that an explosion occurred in the city of Pavlovsk, which “the whole city” heard. There was an abandoned building of the thermal power plant. In its place was a funnel with a diameter of 6 meters and 1.5 meters deep. Explosives experts were unable to find out what led to the explosion.
