In the fifth episode of the monthly podcast of Ongehoorde Verhalen, legal philosopher Raisa Blommestijn evaluates the corona policy with a number of critics from the very beginning. It is striking that the so-called corona critics often prove to be right with retroactive effect. However, this is not always admitted. More than once they are, and still are, labeled as spreaders of “disinformation” and “conspiracy theories”. Demonstrations against the corona policy, where people stood up for freedom of expression, physical integrity and ultimately for democracy itself, often ended with excessive police brutality.
How did the corona critics experience this time? When was the moment for them to take a critical look at the measures taken? And above all: what do they expect from the future? Blommestijn speaks with neurologist Jan Bonte, retail specialist, social geographer and board member of BVNL Hans van Tellingen and Forum for Democracy leader Thierry Baudet.
