Migration is often perceived as a threat to women’s rights. A look at history shows, however, that migration was an important catalyst for gender equality in Switzerland – including for women’s right to vote. And today? What are the demands of women with actual or ascribed migration experience? What about the diversity of perceived realities and struggles of women *?
