“Sudden Lights” sunrise concert at Lake Pabažu
And then suddenly the light dawned… The name of the alternative rock association literally expresses what is happening at sunrise – on July 22 at At 5.00 in the morning, the band “Sudden Lights” woke up Lake Pabaži. For the third year, the municipality of Saulkrasti region invited its residents and guests to wake up a little earlier to welcome a special morning in an unforgettable adventure.
It’s a musical treat as nature’s reed strings intertwine with the guitars of up-and-coming boy band Sudden Lights.

Sudden Lights is a Latvian alternative rock band. The activity of the group started in 2012, it is still active. In 2023, the group took part in the song contest “Supernova 2023” organized by Latvian Television with the song Aija, where they won 1st place and the opportunity to represent Latvia in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
