You could feel the joy of making music together among the three musicians; They play without any technical effects – music simply “handmade” and, as some listeners have put it, “honest”. The amateur musicians were in a great mood and this mood immediately spread to the audience.
With entertaining and relaxed information about the artists and pieces, the songs were moderated sensitively and humorously by songwriters and “played” with skillful facial expressions and gestures, which was enthusiastically received by the audience. The first part featured titles by Hannes Wader, Reinhard Mey, the Sportfreunde Stiller, Ich und Ich, Willy Astor, Max Raabe, the Comedian Harmonists and Otto Reutter. Songs from today back to the 20s and 30s of the last century, which were performed in style with a top hat and white scarf.
