Unfamiliar People – Swelling of Monsterized Human Ego: Takashi Murakami’s Solo Exhibition at the Asian Art Museum

Takashi Murakami officially announced that the new solo exhibition “Unfamiliar People — Swelling of Monsterized Human Ego” will be held for the first time at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, USA.

Known for his brightly coloured, joyous and imaginative creations, Takashi Murakami takes fans on a new journey from different perspectives as he explores human behavior through large-scale paintings, sculptures and digital creations . The museum says the exhibition will examine the complex nature of the world around us with monsters as central themes, some of which represent forces and behaviors that threaten and haunt people, while others represent distraction and escape from chaos.
