Unexpected increase in sales of desktop computers

The analysis company IDC has released a new report regarding computer sales in the world.

According to the report, desktop computer sales increased by 2.1 percent in 2022 compared to 2021, which may seem surprising given that most people are opting for laptops these days.

The biggest increase was Asus, which saw its sales of desktop computers increase by 24.3 percent during the past year. That puts the company in fourth place behind Dell, HP and Lenovo.

As for 2023, IDC expects a decrease of 4.2 percent, due to the current recession. After that, it will hopefully turn upwards again.

If you want to know more, you can find all the numbers in IDC’s press release.
