Unesco Summit: Progress on a Binding International Treaty Against Plastic Pollution by 2024

From May 27 to June 2, at Unesco in Paris, France organized a summit to prepare a binding international treaty against plastic pollution, hoped for by 2024. Because today, “only 9% of plastic waste is recycled ( 15% are collected for being, but 40% of them become recycling residues)”, according to a report by the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) of June 3, 2022.
