And a few days before, the urn with his ashes was placed in the urn grove at the Vracov cemetery. “No one invited me to this act. No one in the family informed me in advance that something like this was going to happen. And no one even informed me that this had happened.” he told the newspaper Aha! the actor’s nephew Pavel Somr (64). “I’m sorry, I liked my uncle. The fact that Josef was already in the cemetery was only informed by my son, who also learned about it from someone,” the nephew continued. The actor’s younger brother Tomáš (76) and his children kept the urn in secret. “Uncle would certainly like the whole of Vracov to know and be there. To bury a great actor loved by people like this seems to me more than undignified,” declared Pavel.
