What is a sexual headache?

It is a headache that a person feels before or during orgasm, usually disappears after a few minutes or continues after intimacy for several hours.

There are two types of sexual headaches:

This type of headache occurs gradually during intimacy, increases with movement, and often results from contraction of the muscles of the head and neck.

Some studies have revealed that men are more likely to experience sexual headaches than women, and researchers have found that it is common for people with migraines.

Does sexual headache warrant a visit to the doctor?

A sexual headache can be overcome by taking analgesic medications, but if it does not improve, a doctor should be visited immediately, because it may be a warning sign of the following diseases:

– brain attack.

Brain bleeding.

Aneurysm.

Oncology.

Spinal fluid bleeding.

Coronary heart disease.

A sexual headache becomes a satisfactory symptom, if it lasts for more than 24 hours, and the sufferer suffers from some symptoms, most notably:

Partial or total paralysis.

Methods of diagnosing sexual headaches
