Understanding Proper Remuneration for Voluntary Work: Training at the Volunteer Academy

What different options are there to correctly remunerate voluntary work in the association? This is what the further training at the Volunteer Academy is about: “Remunerated commitment and employer obligations of associations”. Attorney Professor Gerhard Geckle explains in particular how to properly deal with the trainer or volunteer allowance and the requirements for mini-jobs. It also explains what needs to be taken into account when working in a club, what employer obligations a club has and what the current tax requirements are in this area.

The training is offered free of charge by the Office for Youth, Education, Integration and Sport (JuBIS) for volunteers from VS. Registrations are still possible until Wednesday, October 4th, directly online at www.vhs.villingen-schwenningen.de > Society > Volunteering or by telephone at 07721/82-3344 and quoting the course number AN10201. If you have any questions, please contact Cosima Haller from the Volunteering Department at the email address honoramt@villingen-schwenningen.de or at 07721/82-2157.
