With a nosebleed, blood vessels in the nose have burst, allowing some drops of blood to come out of the nose.

What can you do if your baby has a nosebleed?
Stay calm: Nosebleeds often look worse than they are. It is important to stay calm.
Keep your head up: Do not let your baby lean back as this may swallow the blood. Keep the head bent slightly forward.
Pinch the nostril: Gently squeeze the soft part of the nostril for about 5-10 minutes. This helps stop the bleeding.
Hydration: Ensure there is sufficient humidity in the environment, especially if the indoor air is dry. You can use a humidifier.
