The professor of internal medicine and diabetes at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, advised the necessity of following methods to prevent diabetes complications. She also stressed the need to conduct diabetes tests periodically using a home diabetes meter, and to follow the advice of the specialist doctor following the case to determine the levels of insulin he is receiving.
