The professor of internal medicine and diabetes at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, advised the necessity of following methods to prevent diabetes complications. For those who suffer from sympathetic neuritis as a result of an imbalance in diabetes levels, they should regulate the sugar level in the body well and follow the advice recommended by the specialist doctor following the case, which is: Reduce carbohydrate levels, engage in sports activity, and drink plenty of water.
As for people who suffer from sweating, they should be careful not to take medications that cause blood sugar to drop below its normal level, so that a drop in the body does not occur, explaining that the drop comes when the blood sugar level drops below 70.
She also stressed the need to conduct diabetes tests periodically using a home diabetes meter, and to follow the advice of the specialist doctor following the case to determine the levels of insulin he is receiving.
