Among the challenges you will find some such as capturing certain amounts of Pokémon together, making a certain number of throws of Poké Balls, going around gyms and stops, or simply walking several kilometers together while you go on adventures. By completing the challenges one by one you will get rewardsranging from Stardust to potions or Poké Balls and other items.
You will also have team raids, in which the players in the group will receive new bonuses and a special improvement that is to double the damage on charged attacks. This improvement will have to be loaded, and the more of you there are, the faster it will load.
How team play works
In this game mode, you can create teams of up to 4 people. This means that including you there can only be four at most in each group. If you are going on an adventure with more than one, then you will have to divide yourself into more than one team. You won’t all play together, but you will play in teams.
In addition to this, you will need your trainer to be at level 15 or one higher. This is a limit that has been set so that beginner players who do not have enough experience or level to complete the group challenges cannot participate. Therefore, if you are just starting out and want to participate in multiplayer, you will first have to gain experience on your own.
Once you have achieved this level, in the game you have to enter your trainer’s profile, and click on the tab Equipment. Here you can create a new team by generating a QR code or a numerical code for others to join, or join one that someone else has created.
When you are forming the team and all the participants are already there, then all you have to do is click on the button Begin and that’s it, the multiplayer session will begin. Each session lasts up to 60 minutes, and in it you will all have to stay close to each other. If someone physically moves too far away, then the group will break up and the session will end.
