Model Bella Hadid admitted to having a disease lyme. Illness it makes him absent from the various major fashion event this year.
Recently, Hadid opened up about her recent experience battling the disease. Hadid also uploaded a series of photos showing herself undergoing treatment.
“As much as I can on the positive side, because even though this is painful, it has also been the most enlightening experience of my life,” Hadid wrote in her Instagram upload.
Hadid also confirmed that he was fine.
Illness lyme itself is an infectious disease caused by bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi. This bacterium is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected hooves or deer.
Ticks need to be in the skin for at least 36-48 hours before they can trigger an infection. Many people with this disease can’t remember getting a flea bite.
Collect CNNDoctor Leana Wen said that there are three stages of the disease lyme like Bella Hadid did. The first stage begins within one day to four weeks post-bite. At this stage, a person will look like they have the flu.
“Some develop a characteristic rash known as erythema migrans,” Wen said.
While the second stage occurs 3-12 weeks after the initial infection. At this stage, the symptoms will further develop.
The last stage signifies a disease that has progressed widely. This stage can occur several months after infection.
Lyme disease symptoms
Disease symptoms lyme in each person can be different from each other. Symptoms can vary in severity.
Although divided into three stages, the symptoms can overlap. Several people reported experiencing the disease lyme advanced stage without any previous symptoms.
Here are some symptoms of the disease lyme most common:
– a rash that looks like red ovals anywhere on the body,
– fatigue,
– joint pain and swelling,
– muscle ache,
– headache,
– fever,
– swollen lymph nodes,
– sleep disturbance,
– hard to concentrate.
If treatment doesn’t make the symptoms disappear, then it means you have post-disease syndrome lyme. About 10-20 percent of people with the disease lyme have this syndrome.
This syndrome can affect the mobility and cognitive skills of sufferers. Recovery can usually take months to years.
