Diabetic abdomen
Dr. Muhammad Al-Manisi, Professor of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Kasr Al-Ainy College of Medicine, said that the abdomen of a diabetic patient does not have any strange shape at all, as it has a natural shape, and it cannot be distinguished from the shape of the abdomen of a healthy person.
Al-Manisi confirmed that patients whose abdomen changes shape as a result of their disease are liver and kidney patients, stressing that they suffer from severe flatulence, and the circumference of their loss is significantly large, indicating that this is a common symptom of liver or kidney infection.
