Understanding Chest Pain: Causes and Symptoms in Jakarta

1. Angina

Heartburn generally occurs immediately after eating. It can also occur when lying down several hours after eating. More severe acid reflux is called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The main symptoms of GERD, apart from chest pain, can also cause coughing and difficulty swallowing.

If it recurs frequently, try taking several precautions, such as eating small portions, avoiding fried or fatty foods, eating slowly, don’t eat food before bed.

4. Lung cancer

Chest pain can sometimes be a symptom of lung cancer. Other symptoms include a violent cough, coughing up mucus or blood.

Then, pain in the shoulders or back, shortness of breath, repeated attacks of bronchitis or pneumonia. Symptoms usually include loss of appetite or weight loss. These symptoms may not appear in early stage lung cancer.
