How many stages of breast cancer are there?
There are 4 stages, easily divided into 3 types:
Initial phase (Phase 1-2) These include groups in which the small lump has not spread to the lymph nodes or has spread only slightly.
Metastatic stage (stages 2-3) Including groups that have large lumps or have spread to quite a few lymph nodes.
Metastasis (Stage 4) Including those whose disease has spread to other organs such as the lungs, liver, and bones.
