Regarding the symptoms of broken heart syndrome, Belenkov explained that they include fluctuations in the level of blood pressure, as it sometimes appears to rise in the form of a “wave” from the chest towards the neck to the head, and chest pain that moves to the left arm, lower jaw and between the shoulders, with a high temperature and sweating.
