Peggy secretly investigates the case, while Howard Stark shows up asking for her help in clearing his name.

The mission improves in Season 2, when Peggy must investigate a substance called Zero Matter. To dig deep into the mission, she faces obstacles and personal losses, but she always puts on a brave face and stands up for what is right. The series also explores the close bond between Peggy, Jarvis and Howard Stark. In 2013, the unique Agent Carter film was also released, directed by Louis D’Esoosito. The film ends with Peggy grabbing Steve Rogers’ picture frame and proudly walking away as the newly declared co-founder of SHIELD.
