Suara.com – District Heads Berau, Muharram was confirmed positive for Covid-19, after undergoing a medical swab at the Kanujoso Djati wibowo Regional Hospital in Balikpapan.
The test is a series of requirements to advance in the 2020 Berau Pilkada.
“I am Muharram, the Regent of Berau. I was taking swab for the Pilkada, it turned out that I was confirmed as Covid-19, “said Muharram.
However, he explained that he did not complain about serious illness. Only flu and headaches, after interacting with someone.
“Only minor symptoms, nothing to worry about. The sense of smell is still good and breathing is also smooth. There are no symptoms of difficulty in breathing and appetite is also relatively good, “he said.
Not to forget, Muharram apologized to the people of Berau. He admits his negligence because he doesn’t pay attention to his condition when interacting with other people.
“I would like to convey my deepest apologies to the community Berau Regency.n This is our negligence some time ago when interacting with someone be like this, “he said.
Muharram advised the Berau people not to panic. However, he hopes residents who have interacted with him will immediately have their health conditions checked.

Muharram then asked the Berau community for permission to undergo treatment at Pertamina Balikpapan Hospital, starting from Thursday (10/9/2020).
