The all-electric crossover will have a range of up to 700 kilometers.
A version with a range of 700 km will come later, but now Grandland Electric has two versions available. Both front-wheel drive models are equipped with a 157 kW (213 hp; 345 Nm) motor with a choice of 73 or 82 kilowatt-hour batteries, providing a range of up to 523 and 582 kilometers, respectively.
Technical data shows that both reach 100 km/h in 9.0 seconds and the top speed is the same for both – 170 km/h. The charging speed is not significantly different, with the fast charging device both reaching a 20-80% charge in about half an hour.
The Opel Grandland Electric is 4.65 m long and has a wheelbase of 2.80 m, as well as a luggage compartment of 550-1645 liters.
The crossover is based on the STLA Medium platform, so the competition within its group is also quite wide: Peugeot E-3008 / E-5008, the upcoming Jeep Compass, the Citroen e-C5 Aircross already planned and possibly also the upcoming DS 8. E-Tense. The last three are 2025 news.
Opel Grandland Electric prices start at 46,750 euros for the version with the smallest battery, the version with an 82 kWh battery will cost 52,000 euros.
