Benfica suffered this Friday a heavy defeat in the reception to Sp. Braga (3-0), in a match for the second round of group B of the Revelation Cup.
There were four players in Luís Castro’s starting eleven, he who guided the under-19s of the reds in the recent conquest of the Youth League, who were in that final against Salzburg: Martim Ferreira, Zan Jevsenak, Luís Semedo and Hugo Félix (Samuel Soares also was a starter, he who missed the match with the Austrians by suspension).
Dinis Rodrigues, at 37 minutes, Lacximicant, at 44m, and Nuno Cunha, from a penalty, at 66m, scored the goals of the Minho team.
With this result, Sp. Braga leads group B, with six points from two games. Benfica and Famalicão have three points, while Rio Ave have yet to score.
