When looking for Unterägerer village originals, you quickly end up in Eugen Häusler’s cellar. He had it rebuilt 25 years ago, and since then artifacts from bygone times have been collected here: pages and pages of old compositions that were played in Äger’s churches in the 19th century; a double bass that Häusler saved from its fate as bulky waste and photos of theater performances in which his father appeared. There are pictures, books and documents from the estates of deceased Ägerer everywhere, which Eugen Häusler – often called Geni – keeps in folders and folders.
