There are three corridors along which Russian influence in Bulgaria goes. They were created on the basis of the State Security files, which were naively believed to have been destroyed by General Semerdzhiev at the beginning of the transition. But the most important of them were sent to Moscow.
This is what Osman Oktai, the former second-in-command at the DPS, told “Justice for Everyone”.
The first corridor is the “Librarian”. It is led by Stoyan Denchev. This person was present in the Consultative Council on the DPS side under President Stoyanov when the events took place during the Videnov government, Oktai continued. According to him, all officers, former heads of DANS, were tested by Denchev before they were appointed to senior positions. But they all went through the KGB school in Moscow. In Russia, they work with the foundation of the late Evgeny Primakov.
“The second corridor is connected with Delyan Peevski. It was Peevski who was put in the empty chair after the murder of Iliya Pavlov, he settles Saraya’s and Dogan’s accounts. Under the Minister of Internal Affairs Rumen Petkov there were two deputy ministers. One committed suicide in his villa in Kokalyane – Rumen Andreev, a colonel from the DS. The other is Pascal Paskalev, his son is in one of the famous firms that manage Peevski’s property. Rumen Andreev’s son also has a law firm and also works for Peevski. The other figure here is Georgi Parvanov.
There is also a third corridor – the Plovdiv corridor – headed by Georgi Gergov, honorary consul of Russia, and it leads to President Radev and his advisers, here is Jevdet Chakarov, who unexpectedly came to power,” Oktai said.
He recalled that Ahmed Dogan became the owner of Varna Thermal Power Plant. This TPP has a loan portfolio in a Bulgarian bank. This makes Dogan hostage to the second corridor, which holds the funds. However, “Bulgargaz” condemned the Varna thermal power plant for BGN 36 million with interest for delivered natural gas. The son of Jevdet Chakarov was appointed to the board of “Bulgargaz” and at the time, when the case for the debt of TPP Varna was going on. And events began in Varna – they hit a judge, they also hit a prosecutor. Nevertheless, the verdict came out and Ahmed Dogan received an executive act for 36 million BGN.
“When I left Dogan and DPS, I was accused as the head of the pre-election headquarters of the party because of the few votes, and if it weren’t for the votes from Turkey, we wouldn’t have entered the parliament. That’s why I created an “Elections” fund and registered it in court, and at the head was Mr. Mr. Ademov. The other two in the leadership were Emin, may God forgive him, and Karadai. Thus, the money that enters the party goes to this fund, and not to Dogan,” Oktai said.
According to him, one corridor is setting a trap for the other to take power in the Sarai. The trap is TPP Varna. Therefore Peveski offers himself the services of Dogan and becomes “hyperactive” and “phenomenal”.
