Commentary on the match
The game of the 7th round of the Chance League between Teplice and Mlada Boleslaví ended in a defeat from the North Bohemians’ point of view 1:2. Jakub Emmer opened the scoring with his first league goal, but Ladra equalized not long after. In the end, Lukáš Mašek decided the victory for the guests after a precise recording by Kušaje.
The effort to change something was already visible when looking at the basic line-up of the North Bohemians, in which Jakub Emmer and Albert Labík made it compared to previous matches. The team from the city of automobiles was waiting for the first league test under coach Andreas Brännström.
Right at the beginning of the game, Teplice settled in the opponent’s half, which, unusually, was under the fire of Teplice in the first half. Abdallah Gning had two chances, but both of his attempts were blocked by the defense of Středočechy. In the 20th minute, Matouš Trmal kicked the ball to the edge of the penalty area after a corner kick, where Jakub Emmer found it and opened the scoring with an exhibition shot from the first.
Five minutes after the first goal, the yellow and blue could follow up on this feat, but Gning slipped before he could finish. Immediately on the other side, Vasil Kušej broke into the box and found Tomáš Ladra with a pass, who on the other hand equalized. In the 36th, Gning ran away with the ball on the wing, but Filip Horský did not direct his pass between the three posts, and it was a tie.
After the change of sides, the Teplice players managed to lock down the opponent and created several chances. Gninga’s scissors were the most dangerous in the 59th minute, but the ball narrowly missed the post. In the 65th minute, Boleslav relaxed and Ladra got a dangerous shot, which was caught by Luděk Němeček. He had to distinguish himself ten minutes before the end against a penetration by the same player. However, in the 85th minute, the Teplice goalkeeper had to capitulate, he had no chance against Maško’s goal. The final series of standard situations did not bring an equalizer.
