Riga (from our special correspondent) – Backer Pardubice sometimes has to listen to cues in the cabin. “Broom, what’s on your mind,” his teammates say to him. “The boys were pissed off. I tell them it’s good and I don’t deal with it,” he waves his hand.

He tries to come up with non-traditional hair creations every year before the start of the extra-league play off. “Last year, I had a full head of blonde hair and a red cock before it washed out pink,” recalls Košťálek.

HIT EXTRA TO THE HOCKEY WORLD CUP
The Sport.cz editorial team will offer fans regular coverage of the Czech team’s matches during the World Hockey Championship. In the studio, a selected expert from among hockey personalities and the editor of Sport.cz will discuss the given match with the moderator. Studio Příklep extra will always start fifty minutes before the initial throw-in.

Now he tried to persuade his teammates in Dynamo to buy a mullet. “I asked everyone who was going too. Everyone nodded yes, but in the end I was the only one. Then I noticed that Pasta came up with it,” reminds Boston’s David Pastrňák that he had the same idea for this year’s NHL playoffs.

Košťálek kept his hairstyle even after his semi-final elimination and continues to take care of it. “I had already straightened my forehead, a barber in Brno trimmed my sides. I just leave my ass alone,” he describes, and when asked what he would come up with after a potential triumph at the World Cup, he just smiles.

“I can’t be crazy, I have a family that I have to go out with too. I can’t make up bullshit. I’ll leave it alone, I’ll cut my ass as much as possible and make it a classic summer cut,” thinks Košťálek, thanking his significant other for his tolerance. “I don’t care,” he is pleased.
