Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Indonesian Doctors Association (ID), Erlina Burhan, assessed that the increase in positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia, which has continued to increase lately, is a reflection that the transmission of the pandemic is out of control. Where this condition is caused by various factors including the reopening of activities, public neglect of health protocols to the mutation of a more contagious corona virus.
Therefore, IDI is concerned that the increasing number of Covid-19 cases that continue to occur could have an impact on hospital capacity which can overload and make health workers overwhelmed in dealing with the pandemic.
