The Cuban influencer Iraisel Pintueles opened up to her followers, after being questioned about her treatment of the subject of her deceased husband, reggaeton artist Daniel Muñoz, better known as ‘El Dany’.
Through her Instagram account, Iraisel interacted with her followers, answering their questions through a comment box in her stories.
It was there that one of the users asked him why he “never talks” about the father of his daughter Daniela, and although it could have been a question that he easily ignored without it being known that he did it, since only the owner of the stories can see all the questions and decide which one to upload, Iraisel responded quite attentively.
“Hello beautiful, it may be an uncomfortable question, but I have that doubt, why don’t you talk about El Dany?” asked the user anonymously.
The influencer and widow of the reggaeton artist reassured the user, pointing out that she did not feel bad about the question, and gave the reasons for her decision not to mention Muñoz on her networks, whether in stories or publications.
Through a long text, which she placed with a story with a blurry background, the influencer explained that she had already given her reasons before, the main one being that she wants Daniel to literally rest in peace.
“Daniel is resting in holy sepulture… We talk about him constantly in private, at home, with the family, with close and close friends, we decided to separate the sensationalism and sensationalism from his name so that his spirit may be at peace (…)” , began.
Daniela’s mother added that also in this way she and her family avoid being singled out by haters and supposed fans of the reggaeton artist, who have accused her of taking advantage of his name and “hanging” on him to obtain fame.
“(…) So that people’s hurtful comments do not affect us (since many comment that we look for a pattern with his name, etc.), then, to avoid bad emotional moments, we decided that Daniel’s name be used only to remember him in special moments and days,” he concluded.
Indeed, on anniversaries of special dates, birthdays, and commemorations, Iraisel and Yomil Hidalgo, El Dany’s former musical partner, are the first to remember and honor him, both with words, photos or images.
Dany died in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19, in what was later reported as medical negligence, but all informally, without transcending. At the time, many accused Iraisel of not demanding justice, stating that she “didn’t care” about what happened, without considering that she and her daughter still live in Cuba, where they could face serious consequences for complaining.
