Even after an initial investigation, it is still unclear what caused the death of a prisoner in the prison in Krimpen aan den IJssel. The man was found lifeless in his cell yesterday morning.
The police only let us know that it concerns a 24-year-old man without a fixed place of residence or residence. Yesterday it turned out that a cellmate has been identified as a suspect. That is a 29-year-old man from The Hague. He is still being questioned.
According to Rijnmond the victim’s cellmate initially refused to leave the cell. He was eventually placed in an isolation cell with the help of the internal assistance team.
