According to comprehensive media reports, the internationally renowned academic journal “Nature” published an astronomy research paper on November 29, reporting that astronomers discovered six extraterrestrial planets orbiting a nearby bright star numbered HD110067 in the constellation Coma Berenices. , about 100 light-years away from the earth, the orbits of six of them are synchronized with each other, and it is estimated that they have never changed in the 4 billion years since their formation.

The paper points out that this newly discovered six-planet system has a planetary radius between the Earth and Neptune. It is also called a sub-Neptune. Its composition is similar to that of Neptune. It is a rocky celestial body covered with a thick layer of gas. These planets are far away from their stars, so there is no liquid water on the planets. Liquid water is considered one of the important factors in the birth of life.

The paper also mentioned that although the six discovered planets are not suitable for habitation, the orbits of these six planets are precisely synchronized with each other. This suggests that the planets exert regular forces on each other as they move, a feature that suggests the system has remained virtually unchanged since its creation, at least 4 billion years ago.
