Barely arrived at Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen could already pack his bags.
The summer transfer window closed its doors almost a month ago. But this transfer window will have left its mark with several improbable operations. The transfer of Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray is notably one of these. But the Nigerian international should not last long in Turkey and could even pack his bags in the coming months.
Victor Osimhen to leave Galatasaray soon
This is one of the files that have shaken up the transfer market this summer. In any case, it is the one that has caused the most talk in Italy. Eager to leave Naples, Victor Osimhen had been approached by several big European clubs. But all his suitors (PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal) were put off by the demands of the Neapolitan club. Naples notably demanded that the teams pay the release clause of the former Lille player estimated at 130 million euros.
Al Ahli still had a juicy offer to Napoli but Victor Osimhen dismissed the idea of an adventure in Saudi Arabia. And when the Partenopei management revised its demands downwards, it was too late, especially for Chelsea to close the file. Finally, it was Galatasaray who came to the rescue of the player while Napoli had excluded him from the professional group.

Juventus want to repatriate Victor Osimhen to Serie A
However, the Turkish club will clearly not benefit from Victor Osimhen’s services for long. Naples had taken care to extend the Nigerian’s contract for a year before selling him on loan to Galatasaray. But it is rather a rival club that the former LOSC and Charleroi center forward is heading. Paolo Paganini has revealed, in recent hours, that Victor Osimhen would be an alternative for Juventus Turin, which would no longer count on Dusan Vlahovic.
“Osimhen, it’s true that he has a big release clause, but the relationship between Osimhen, his agent and the Juve boss (Cristiano) Giuntoli is very strong, so be careful because this summer there could be a sensational return,” said the head of Rai Sports’ football department on Monday. According to Paolo Paganini, the Old Lady, who also has her sights set on Jonathan David (Lille), could snatch Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray and Naples as early as next year.
