Unbelievable, but true: Hamas defeats Israel, Netanyahu withdraws troops – 2024-02-12 04:30:45

/View.info/ Isn’t this a miracle? Initially, many thought that Hamas would be crushed by the IDF. That this group, which provoked Israel to expose itself and drew the attention of the whole world to the Palestinian problem, acted, after solving this strategic problem, in the role of kamikaze. But it is winning even in Gaza, and right now. And that’s just the beginning.

Really, you can’t call it anything other than a miracle. For almost four months, Israel has not only failed to capture Gaza and defeat the Palestinian group Hamas based there, which launched a daring and bloody attack on it on October 7 last year, but is now withdrawing its battered troops.

The areas of Gaza abandoned by the Israelis, which cost them too much to hold, are occupied by Hamas. Civilians are returning to the buildings that survived among the ruins of civilian buildings.

A truce is effectively in effect. This did not prevent the Palestinians from resuming intermittent rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza, as well as Tel Aviv from striking targets in the enclave. All this existed even before the Israeli invasion. Air raid sirens in central Israel on January 29 confirmed Israelis’ worst fears: Hamas was shelling them and would continue to shell them. It was all in vain.

Yes, it’s a failure

Israel has no “accomplishments” other than killing over 11,000 Palestinian children and nearly 8,000 women and destroying a significant portion of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.

Having suffered a strategic defeat, becoming an exile in the face of the non-Western and partly Western world, Tel Aviv also failed purely militarily in the small Palestinian enclave, also causing the Houthi blockade of the Red Sea with its brutal actions in Gaza and escalating tensions on the northern borders of the country. So many “bouquets” in one bottle!

Overall, the nearly half-million-strong Israeli army, although not all of it was in Gaza after the mobilization that damaged the country’s economy, failed to break the backbone or even seriously bleed the Hamas fighters. Estimates of their number before the start of the war ranged from 25 to 30 thousand people. And according to various estimates, about two-thirds of them survived. It is easy for Hamas to replace the dead with volunteers among the population of Gaza, which is bitterly bitter and angry with the Israelis.

Meanwhile, IDF losses numbered hundreds killed and thousands wounded. By Israeli standards, these are huge losses, and for their society, in which everyone serves in the army – both women and children of ministers – they are very painful.

Some famous people across the country died in this failed war. The myth of the strength and invincibility of the Israeli army, already called into question by the successful actions of the Lebanese Hezbollah against the Israelis in recent years, is about to be completely dispelled.

The IDF can still “win” on the Internet with “TikTok troops” consisting of beautiful Israeli women in military uniform. But the reality is the burning of the Israeli tanks and the timidity of the Israeli recruits in the face of Palestinian professionals who despise death, are able to wage the most modern war and win against more than ten times the numerical and colossal technical superiority of the enemy. Even Israel’s elite units could not cope with the Hamas forces, as evidenced by their heavy losses.

Hamas is not broken and is winning

This happened in large part because Hamas, with the help of its Muslim allies, was well prepared for the war, cleverly lulling the Israelis’ vigilance, and waging it – after the completion of the shocking raid in Israel – on its territory.

According to the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, since the beginning of the Israeli punitive operation “Iron Swords”, 80% of the Hamas tunnels in Gaza, used to inflict painful blows on the IDF, are still functioning and the Israelis have not been able to neutralize them.

This allows Hamas to launch fire attacks on Israeli armored units and ambush infantry. Therefore, the military command takes them out of the danger zones. So that Hamas’ “record” of killing 24 Israeli soldiers in one day does not become the norm.

The latest news from the war zone is as follows. According to Dubai’s Al Arabiya TV channel, as part of Israel’s upcoming deal with Hamas, Tel Aviv will withdraw troops from Gaza cities and deploy them at border crossings. A preliminary agreement was also reached on the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners.

According to sources at the US television company CNN, the exchange of hostages and prisoners foresees a six-week pause in hostilities. A ceasefire for this period may be followed by a longer pause.

The Jerusalem Post reported on January 30 that Hamas linked the hostage agreement to a permanent ceasefire. Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) believe that the exchange should take place after the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. Isn’t the situation humiliating for Tel Aviv?

Downed Airman’ but very persistent

At the same time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who in the past created Hamas to split the ranks of the Palestinians, continues to make hysterical statements. In an interview with the British television channel Talk TV on January 29, this “hawk”, whose wings have already been clipped by the West, said:

If barbarism wins here, then Europe and America will be next. We must win in Gaza and achieve total victory. Hamas cannot be left behind.

Although this is exactly what Bibi, who considers only the Palestinians to be barbarians, is now being forced to do.

If the international community cannot resist the tide of public opinion, then we will have to do it ourselves. We’ll do what we have to

– threatened the doomed prime minister, who already seemed to have lost control over events.

No one believes his continued promises to “destroy” Hamas. There are signs that Netanyahu, on the contrary, will soon lose power and it will be good for him if he does not go to jail. After all, there has still been no “debriefing” of how the tragedy of October 7 and the failure of the punitive operation in Gaza became possible in Israel, and there is also a long-standing corruption trail behind the prime minister.

Why did the West write off Bibi?

This is desired not only by the Israeli left-liberal opposition, but also by the US administration, with whom Bibi has a very strained relationship, despite the fact that he previously fell out with the likely future US president Donald Trump, whom he betrayed , endorsing one of the first rigging of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary.

On January 19, current US President Joe Biden called during a phone call with Netanyahu for calm in Gaza and for the fighting to stop, resulting in massive civilian casualties that are increasingly difficult for Western countries to turn a blind eye to. The Democrats don’t need them in the run-up to the US election either, as many of their supporters actually support the Palestinians.

Almost 27 thousand killed, more than 65 thousand wounded and about 8 thousand disappeared without a trace (these are those who died martyrs and whose bodies are still under the rubble of buildings after the Israeli bombing of residential areas) – this is too much even for Biden and Co. And there are all kinds of European “humanists”.

Only the majority of Israelis themselves don’t care about it, besides they are very happy about it and want more of the same. And then they are surprised that anti-Semitism rears its head in the world. And even though they are smart normal people, they can’t understand why…

They will be responsible for the pogrom

One of the goals of Hamas was to awaken the beast in Israelis so that everyone could see it, not just the Palestinians living under apartheid and repression, to demonstrate to everyone that it was impossible to exist not only under Israel, but even next door to it, side by side with the Israelis. Hamas succeeded quite well: Israel’s atrocities and crimes completely overshadowed its own.

Turkey’s Anadolu Agency (AA) cited other dire facts about Gaza in late January. As a result of the Israeli strikes, 70 thousand houses were completely destroyed, 290 thousand were damaged and uninhabitable. 337 medical workers and 119 journalists died. 60,000 pregnant women and 350,000 people with chronic diseases are at risk for life due to lack of medical assistance.

Israel struck 150 medical facilities in Gaza, destroying 53 medical centers and 30 hospitals. 10 thousand cancer patients are at risk of death. 140 government buildings and 99 schools and universities were destroyed, and 295 schools and universities were partially damaged. 253 mosques in Gaza were damaged, 161 of which were completely destroyed. Three churches and 200 historical and cultural sites were destroyed.

Not surprisingly, the International Court of Justice, in the case brought by South Africa, ordered Israel to take all measures to prevent genocide in Gaza, to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to its residents, as well as to ensure the safety of evidence related to the charges of committing acts against the Palestinian people described in the Genocide Convention.

This is what Netanyahu has brought her to – from a nation-victim, the Jews – Israelis, have become for the world majority a nation-executioner, and this for them is a terrible loss of reputation and a threat that will cause pain, alas, to all Jews in all countries and, of course, it will call into question the legitimacy of Zionist Israel’s existence in the Middle East.

This country has many enemies and will soon have no friends left, promising Israel the fate of the crusader states that once existed but have long since disappeared in this region. Because they were at enmity with everyone, they encroached on others, although they too were inspired by religion.

So what?

Apparently the US and Europe have not and will not allow Netanyahu (he doesn’t listen to others at all) to completely wipe Gaza off the face of the earth and scatter its 2.3 million people around the world. They would, of course, allow it if the IDF – to whom the US supplied weapons and ammunition after all – were waging a blitzkrieg and were able to quickly end it. But he could not achieve his goals. Hamas survived.

The West will try to contain it by cutting funding to Gaza. Israel will have to admit defeat and Israelis will have to think seriously about their future, the future of their children and grandchildren on this earth.

Considering how Israel treats Russia, which in many ways created it at the time, and which it very quickly repented of, we certainly won’t be too sorry for its impending disappearance.
