After missing a large part of the previous season due to back injuries, the goalkeeper of the Spanish club RCD Mallorca sprained his right ankle at a training camp in Austria. The Marca website reports about it, but did not state the extent of the injury.
Twenty-five-year-old Greif has been working in the team from the Balearic Islands since last summer, he came there from Slovan Bratislava. In his current place of work, he has a contract until the summer of 2026. During his first year in Spain, he caught only two competitive meetings – one each in La Liga and Copa del Rey.
Since the long-term goalkeeper of RCD Mallorca, Manolo Reina, was not extended by the management after the end of last season, and Sergio Rico returned from a loan to his parent Paris Saint-Germain, after Greif’s injury, the club has to look for another goalkeeper in the player market.
