For the finals of the youngest tennis players, the Lower Franconian master teams of the U8, U9 and U10 met to determine their age group winners.
As an unbeaten team, the youngest of TSV 1884 Karlstadt in the U9 age group became champions in district class 1 in the tennis district of Lower Franconia. The all-girls team topped the table with 6: 0 points and thus won the tennis championship title.
This qualified them for participation in the final tournament of the best teams from the age groups U8, U9 and U10. This exciting tournament took place on October 3rd on the tennis facility in Karlstadt.
There the seven to ten year old children fought for the championship title in amazing matches! In the U8 final, TSC Heuchelhof defeated TV 1860 Aschaffenburg. The title in the U9 won the TC Rot-Weiß Gerbrunn against the TC Rot-Gold Alzenau, while in the U10 the TV 1860 Aschaffenburg won the final against the TC Rot-Weiß Gerbrunn.
The children traveled with their parents from the entire tennis district of Lower Franconia. In addition to teams from Gerbrunn, Würzburg and Würzburg-Heuchelhof, teams from Alzenau, Aschaffenburg and Weilbach-Weckbach and even Bad Neustadt took part.
The tournament ended with a festive award ceremony, at which the children were awarded medals and trophies.
