Unable, Space Mission Delayed Due to Space Debris

Space travel that has been scheduled by the American astronauts Space Agency (NASA) was postponed. The agency appeared to have received a warning of debris to the International Space Station (ISS).

As already wrote in a statement, NASA explained that the notice of the debris was received on Monday (29/11). “Due to lack of proper opportunity to assess the risk that they may cause on the astronauts, the team has decided to postpone the planned spacewalks on Tuesday, November 30th until more information is available,” he quoted from Fox News, Wednesday (1/12).

Spacewalk scheduled to start at 7:10 a.m. ET. NASA astronauts Thomas Marshburn and Kayla Barron will revamp the antenna system S-band Antenna Subassembly (SASA) with available reserves in the station frame structure.

The agency has already noted that the antenna has recently lost its ability to send signals to Earth through Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System belongs to NASA.

“Although its degradation had a limited impact on station operations, mission managers decided to install a new antenna to ensure communication redundancy. The space station has an additional low-level S-band system, as well as a high-level KU-band communication system that broadcasts video,” NASA wrote in a statement. Monday (29/11).

Spacewalk six and a half hours will turn out to be spacewalk 245th to push for the assembly of the space station. However, spacewalk the next will be spacewalk fifth for Marshburn, spacewalk first for Barron, and spacewalk 13th on the space station this year.

Meanwhile, the astronauts arrived for the science mission six months on the ISS on November 11 with a mission SpaceX Crew-3 NASA above Crew Dragon Endurance.

? However, the space junk could indeed endanger astronauts and the space mission in general. In a few weeks ago, Russia tested an anti-satellite missile on Nov. 15 that destroyed a satellite Cosmos 1408 weighing nearly two tons.
