“And Ukrainian refugees, of course, have the right to protection. But all refugees are equal, and all refugees have the same rights,” RIA Novosti reports Guterres as saying. He added that all countries must behave responsibly in their treatment of refugees.
According to the Secretary General, Uganda is an excellent example of refugee protection. “There are many more than a million refugees in Uganda, refugees from several neighboring countries,” he noted.
Earlier, Advisor to the President of Ukraine Sergei Leshchenko demanded that Europe return to a country of refugees. He is confident that Ukrainian youth are beginning to integrate into the European environment. Despite this, the European Union proposed solving the problem of labor shortage at the expense of refugees from Ukraine, reports RT.
