UN reduces the number of employees in New York

After the first documented case of the corona virus in a diplomat in the United Nations, the UN is drastically reducing the number of employees at its New York headquarters. “I have decided that from Monday, March 16 to April 12, all employees will work remotely if their physical presence in the building is not required (…),” wrote UN Secretary General António Guterres yesterday in an E -Mail.
