An initiative of the G-100 Global Women Leaders – Law and Justice Committee to commemorate the International Day of Women Judges and Magistrates. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the United Nations Organization in New York and was chaired by the Honorable Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice, Carmen R. Velásquez.
The Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the UN had the honor of organizing, together with @g100wefleaders, this dialogue with prominent judges from various countries to analyze the critical role they play in eradicating crime and violence, particularly against women.
The program included the participation of the most outstanding Judges and Magistrates from Mexico, Ecuador, Ghana, and the United States, who spoke about Law, Justice, and the empowerment of Women in the Judicial System.
