The Larisa Ultramarathon runner, Nikos Kontis, will start tomorrow, Saturday February 24 at 08:00 in the morning from Athens, to run about 400 kilometers and in this way honor the memory of the 57 souls who were lost in Tempi.
Starting from the Larissa station, it will arrive after four days, that is on February 27 and at approximately 00:00 at its final destination, at point zero.
Mr. Contis will do the minimum, keeping his promise not to be forgotten… The effort is only an effort to remember and only that…
There is no purpose whatsoever and any athlete and not only who wants to light their own candle and “feel” can do so with his help and his presence throughout the route and be next to the athlete Nikos Contis whoever and if it is, wherever it comes from, whatever it stands for.

The start will take place from Larissa Station in Athens at 08:00 on Saturday February 24 and will head to the ELPLAST factory where it will arrive after about 5 hours at 33km. i.e. at around 13:00. Then it continues to Schimatari, reaching 60 km after about 10 hours. at 18:00, at a total of 90 km, it will be on S.S. Thebes and after 15 hours that is at 23:00.
Starting the second day at 120km. and at 04:00 in the morning it will pass through Livadia, at 170 km. will be in Amfikleia from 11:00 to 13:00, continues Brallo at 190km. around 16:00 to 18:00, then at the Thermopylae toll 18:00 to 19:00 at 205km. then Lamia at 220 km. then Domokos Health Center at 240 km. and time 22:00 to 00:00.
On the third day, between 04:00 and 06:00, it reaches Neo Monastiri at 260 km. in Paleofarsala 08:00 to 10:00 and 280 km. , Hebride 290 km., Chalkiades-Khara-Zappio 310 km. at 13:00 to 15:00 then it will head to Karyes and then it will arrive at Larissa Railway Station at approximately 17:00 and after 380 km.
End at around 00:00 on February 27-28 and after 420km. Nikos Kontis will pay tribute to the 57 souls who were so unjustly lost.
