Thanks to its modding community and the efforts of CDPR, Cyberpunk 2077 is still considered one of the best games on PC in terms of graphics. And YouTuber Digital Dreams shared a video showing off the game in 8K resolution with the new Ultra + Path Tracing module.
The Ultra + Path Tracing mod makes Cyberpunk 2077 more beautiful and smoother. The modder behind it says it fixes ray tracing issues on AMD GPUs. It also speeds up ray tracing by 30-40%. It even features a new PT21 Turbo mode to further improve game performance.
What’s cool here is that this mod can also improve the quality of ray tracing. It also includes integrating particle color into ray tracing. In this way, smoke, steam, sparks and electricity will be enhanced and light up the scene along the way. Not only that, it reprocesses the hair in ray tracing so that it looks more realistic in full sunlight, in lighted and unlit rooms. Additionally, the mod customizes the skin when using ray tracing.
The Ultra + Path Tracing mod makes reflections on surfaces such as wet grass more realistic. It also improves how things like weapons, plants, and skin reflect light when using ray tracing. Additionally, it corrects problems with overly clear or transparent white objects such as glass, bottles, cabinets and windows. It also adds more detail to shadows when using ray tracing.
And the visual improvements don’t stop there. The mod will improve the appearance of objects and even enable ambient occlusion on the eyes. It also fixes stuttering, FPS slowdown, crashes, and low memory issues in the original game on video cards with less than 12 GB of video memory.
