Before “Saw: Spiral” appears in the cinema, fans of the horror series will soon be able to watch the predecessor “Jigsaw” on free TV, completely unedited.
With “Saw“The big journey began, because the brutal film from 2004 was already thrilling horror audiences back then. A total of eight parts have been released so far and the franchise is approaching its anniversary with the upcoming “Saw 9 – Spiral” film. But before you watch the upcoming “Saw” film with Samuel L. Jackson (“The Avengers”) and Chris Rock (“Grownups”) in the cinema, you should definitely take a look at the TV program, because the predecessor “ Jigsaw ”appears for the first time on German free TV.

The horror prequel starts at 00:05 on Thursday, September 9th 2021, on Tele 5. The time might be a bit late for some working people, but it is indeed worth it, because the film is shown in an uncut version, like Schnittberichte.com confirmed. So “Saw” fans get their money’s worth and don’t have to do without brutal scenes.

This is what awaits you in “Jigsaw”
As the title suggests, John Kramer / Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) still plays a big role in the plot of the film. The iconic killer has been dead for over ten years, but strange incidents happen. Apparently people continue to be hunted down with the help of brutal, macabre games and it seems there are one or more imitators – maybe even among the investigators.
In addition to an exciting story about the identity of the murderer, the most creative methods of killing people await us in “Jigsaw”. Unfortunately, for some time now the series has not come close to the first two “Saw” films, which still enjoy a good reputation among horror fans and critics.
As a rule, horror series lose more and more of their appeal with further sequels, but at least the basic elements remain and “Jigsaw” still has some powerful and brutal scenes to offer. If you like that, you shouldn’t miss the horror movie.
